Hi,

Every now and then I find that my air video server has stopped responding to the world. For some reason it just becomes unresponsive and connection tests fail and it cannot be access from either inside or outside my LAN.

Typically I would use teamviewer to log in and execute this simple fix: turn server off, turn server back on. voila, it works now.

Due to the massive teamviewer scandal (yes, I was a victim) i uninstalled TV.

Could you guys add a function that checks every 10 or so minutes whether the server is alive and reachable from the exterior and if not, kick start the service ???

thanks.

I agree. I use VNC sometimes to log in and restart the server. It would be nice if it would just restart once a day or so to keep it fresh.

This is why I use a old version of AirVideo Server that was more stable without this problem!

Do you know what's causing the server to be unresponsive?
