Hello!

Since the new update of the client to 2.1.4 on my iPhone 6S and iPad Air 2 the autoplay of the next video doesn't work anymore.

The progress bar still shows that the video is running, but the picture is blurred and stops. No matter which file-type (mp4, avi, wmv,...)

I remember this error occuring a long time ago and it was fixed in an update.

Anyone experiencing the same error?

iOS 9.2, Server 2.2.1 (Windows 10), Client 2.1.4

Same problem here. Tried reinstallation of server and client but problem persists. Hope a fix is forthcoming.

Did you Guys remember to turn off your locks in iOS settings app? (auto-lock and cover lock) If you didn't it won't autoplay. This happened awhile back, probably when iOS 9 came out, it seemed to have killed autoplaying when the cover is closed or your screen goes black.

No locks active. I didn't change anything in the settings. Before the update to client 2.1.4 the next video started without problems. I'm watching on my iPad Air 2, so no closed cover or black screen. I can only see the first frame of the new video, then the picture gets blurred and this blurred picture stays on the screen, while the progress bar ist going on.

I have updated to iOS 9.2.1, still same problem.

If you have Windows 10, one thing I have noticed is that AirVideoHD server seems to have more issues with Widows 10 than Windows 7. I don't know what in particular, but I have to close the AirVideoHD server and rerun it, then it behaves properly for a while.

This is a regression in latest update - problem is, I can't seem to be able to reproduce this myself. I'll be submitting a possible fix for review soon, we'll see if it helps.

@admin The only thing I notice when AirVideoHD starts to act up, is that when I terminate it, I have to use the task manager to kill the two AirVideoHD processes that are left over. If I terminate a well behaving AirVideoHD, I don't have to do this. It could just be the effect, not the cause.

RMcV, do you mean two AirVideoServerHD processes? That sounds really weird, where would they come from? We have check in the app that doesn't allow you to launch air Video Server HD multiple times (because multiple instances do cause problems)

I updated my app last night and today discovered that my iPhone 5 has the same issues. A not so quick work around I've discover is when not in landscape mode there are four menu items below the video.

Audio

Subtitles

Video

Download

Select Video and there are 3 more selections

Playback Speed

Aspect Ratio

Force Deinterlacing         [select to on or back off, it does not make a difference] your playback will clear-up back to normal. Unfortunately you have to do this to each video during auto playback.

The above selections can be reached in landscape mode by tapping the screen to get a display. by pressing the settings icon net to the minimize arrows.

Or you can press stop, close the video and start the next one manually.

I use an iMac and El Capitan with iOS 9.xx iPhone5

So, how hard is to fix it? This bug is really annoying...

I've submitted update for review. I'm not 100% sure if it fixes the issue though, because I'm unable to reproduce it. We'll see after Apple approves it.

@ admin Sorry for the large delay in responding. I never run more than one AirVideo HD server instance. The two processes are related to AirVideoServerStarter.exe and AirVideoServerUI.exe. They are launched on every run of AirVideo HD server and I think it is "normal".

Me too, Same problem on auto play next video.
I remember this happened to a previous version as well, but it was subsequently fixed.
Latest version 2.1.4 *Build 201.04" - problem is back again.

Same issue but I'm not streaming. I've downloaded the videos locally and the auto play starts the next video with audio but the display remains blurry. Device is a 16gb iPad 2
