So I had a couple changes on my PC this last week.. I installed Windows 10, which caused my sleep mode to start working again. I also replaced my router which should have all the same rules as the old one. After resuming from sleep on my PC, CPU usage of the AirVideo app went sky high for about 10 minutes and caused my PC to be pretty sluggish even though no clients were connected. I have attached the relevant parts of the logs below. I think the ten minute gap in the logs before "External access not allowed or networking not starting" is where the CPU usage went crazy. network.log 10:38:27 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:395 - - Network change detected! 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:176 - - Enumerating network interfaces. 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:200 - - Network Name : XXXXX.com 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:201 - - Comment (if any): (null) 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:232 - - NLA Data Type: NLA_CONNECTIVITY 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:245 - - Network Type: Unknown 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:251 - - Internet connectivity: No 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:219 - - NLA Data Type: NLA_INTERFACE 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:220 - - Type: 0 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:221 - - Speed: 0 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:222 - - Adapter Name: {E1AB4E08-F227-4701-AA31-64B2AC96877F} 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:191 - - All network interfaces enumerated. 10:38:28 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:379 - - Waiting for network changes started... 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:395 - - Network change detected! 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:176 - - Enumerating network interfaces. 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:200 - - Network Name : XXXXXXXXX.com 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:201 - - Comment (if any): (null) 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:232 - - NLA Data Type: NLA_CONNECTIVITY 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:242 - - Network Type: Unmanaged 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:255 - - Internet connectivity: Yes 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:219 - - NLA Data Type: NLA_INTERFACE 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:220 - - Type: 0 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:221 - - Speed: 0 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:222 - - Adapter Name: {E1AB4E08-F227-4701-AA31-64B2AC96877F} 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:191 - - All network interfaces enumerated. 10:38:33 INFO 00 core.server NetworkChangeNotifierWin.cpp:379 - - Waiting for network changes started... 10:55:04 INFO 00 core.server Server.cpp:192 - - - - - - - - - - - External access not allowed or networking not starting 10:55:04 INFO 00 core.server Server.cpp:181 - - - - - - - - - - - Resolved external address: XX.XX.XX.XX:62841 10:55:04 INFO 00 core.server Server.cpp:195 - - - - - - - - - - - EXIT_IF_INTERRUPTED at line 195 10:55:04 INFO 00 core.trackerService.retriever TrackerConfigurationRetriever.cpp:230 Received response: 200 OK 10:55:04 INFO 00 core.trackerService.retriever TrackerConfigurationRetriever.cpp:318 Remote server list is not modified. I just did an in-place upgrade and clean install of Windows 10 Pro.  Was seeing high CPU usage, and slow performance compared to Windows 7 Pro.  I ending up going back to a clean installation of Windows 7 Pro, because of the high CPU usage, on Windows 10 was seeing around 60% vs 4 or 10% on Windows 7 Pro.  I tried with 2.1.4 and 2.1.4-Beta5 both x64.

High CPU usage when? During transcoding or when the server is idle?

It looked to be both, however mostly when I would go into a folder and it would generate the thumbnail image(or whatever process that says loading details).  That part would spiked all cores.   I did notice with the Windows 7 Pro clean install doing VLC 2.2.1 and AVHD 2.1.4 both x64 the CPU usage is mostly at 0%, even doing MKV/AVI/MP4/M2TS.
