Please enable iTunes file sharing.

I have been a longtime user and promoter to friends and family of Air Video.  I love using the download feature to save movies to watch when I fly or when I'm at a hotel with lousy internet.  I used to be able to use iExplorer to grab the downloaded files from Air Video HD documents folder, however, thanks to apple, and iOS 8.3, this is blocked.

According to the many file browsing software companies, the "quick" fix is for the application developer to enable "iTunes file sharing".

PLEASE bring this back.  I would like to download files onto my iPhone like normal, but if I want a bigger screen, jump on my mac, jump into iExplorer, and grab them.

If you are unwilling, please let me know, as I'll just go back to 8.2.

Thank you!

Are you unable to do this with iExplorer 3.7.4.0?

Actually, never mind, it's still issue with 3.7.4.0. Enabling iTunes filesharing is tricky. I'd like to do it at some point, but it's bit more work than it seems, since we need to handle added and removed files.

Well, I guess my request would be, just to turn it on, to enable what was lost. The program has never handled adds or deletes. It was awesome, however, to be able to copy files down off my phone, and onto my laptop, simply to watch on a larger screen.

Thoughts?

We can't just enable it and not implement it properly. The app will then show in iTunes, but file copy will not work. This would violate AppStore review guidelines and the update would be rejected.

Shame. Thanks apple! :-p

I guess I'll be downgrading to 8.2 until you are able to enable file sharing.

Thank you for the info! Please keep us up to date when you are able to enable file sharing.

Well...I guess I'm doubly screwed by apple. Went to downgrade, and just found that they stopped signing 8.2.

I guess my hope is that you guys can work something out for the iTunes file sharing! Fingers crossed!

Just thought I'd ask, any progress on the iTunes filesharing?

Sorry, with new Apple TV and iOS 9 multitasking this really isn't high on the priority list.
