Hi there,

A big thanks to everyone behind the new Air Video! I am sure that everyone is highly impressed with your product. I was just wondering whether you guys have considered making an Android version of your app?

Regards,

Zengster

Hi,

we're considering it all the time. But we don't want to dilute focus right now. Also last time I checked there were some technical issues that would prevent us to deliver same experience on Android, but I might no be up to date on that.

Any update on this ? I'm not aware of any app that comes close to Air Video on Android so that would certainly get you quite a few new customers ;-)

Although I can and do run Plex Media Server to stream to my Android devices; I would prefer to stream using Air Video HD as I found this to be a better streaming solution to Plex for my iDevices.

If you could introduce an Android application that would be great, I would purchase the client again to run on Android.

I would love this also. Wife and child use I devices but I use android. It would be nice to not have to install multiple servers to support streaming.

Just moved from an iPhone to a Android and just realised that this app doesn't exist on Android! Please bring asap this app to Android as well, I especially enjoying the offline modus when flying!

I just tried them, but they dont have the same look or feel.

Why the developer dont like to create an app for Android? How hard can it be?

Because iOS is better.

What is the reason to flame? So don't be redicoule about this. It is about the app and his functionality and that works very good.

I think the user meant that iOS is easy to develop for compared to Android. When developing for Android developers have to put in a lot of time and effort to build for different devices and most is not on the latest OS.

As much as I would like a Air Video app for Android, I can understand the argument against.

No disrespect, but I'm still flabbergasted that in 2016, an Android version is still unavailable. You have pretty much forced me into using another alternative to your product. What a shame.

Yeah I'm about to change also because of no android support.
