Hi all,

I'm confused about the Download functionality of Air Video HD. I see that I can search for files on my Mac and elect to download them instead to my device, but if I select a 1080p MKV video it estimates that it'll take 1 hour to fully download to my device in the highest quality. Also, the file size is 2x as much as the actual file size on my computer.

That can't be right? I don't want to convert it and then download it -- I just need to transfer it in it's current form.

What about a simple file transfer option with iTunes so that I can easily just transfer the file from iTunes and drag and drop it into the Air Video HD Download folder on the app? With other apps with similar options, it takes a minute to fully transfer a 1080p video.

Or am I missing something with what is currently available?

there are multiple things that don't seem right here. Does the video have H.264 codec? If you tap at the ( i ) button on Download page, it should give you the reason why video track is being transcoded. What is it?
